It’s simple. Linux Lite is, hands down, not only one of the best “lightweight” Linux distributions I’ve ever used, but probably one of the single best distributions geared toward new users.
The distribution does a lot of things well, is easy to set up and use and the project offers us a lot of beginner friendly documentation. Linux Lite provides a great balance of speed, user friendliness, features and stability. Linux Lite is an excellent option for users seeking a user friendly, lightweight operating system.

Linux Lite 3.8 - I am flabbergasted that this distro installed on Macbook Pro 2010 model. And every thing worked, WiFi, Volume buttons, Keyboard background lights, Mac Magic Mouse connected easly, Screen dimming buttons worked and runs better than the High Sierra Mac OS.
I've used Windows for many years, but Windows 10 was making my Notebook slow. I researched a lot on Youtube and I found Linux Lite. I've been using it for 2 months and I just have to thank you for this amazing system. I'm impressed how LibreOffice opens so quickly and works so well on the system. You saved my Notebook. Thank you.
I have been using Linux Lite for years. I have used many other Linux distros like Zorin, Manjaro, Peppermint, Mint, Ubuntu, Pclinux, Lubuntu, and many more but to me Linux Lite is the best! With many add ons you do not see in others like Lite Tweaks and the Lite Software installer, it gets better with every release. Thanks for all you do.
