I believe Jerry prefers for you to upload it to imgur.com and then add it. The forum will auto resize large images.

Wow!  That's an amazing photograph.

That's true, I use imgur myself.  However, manually resizing can still be useful.

On older 4:3 screens (and smaller 16:9 screens on phones/tablets) the forums default resizing to 800x600 causes the right side of the image to be cut off.  You have to either scroll right on the image or use Right Click > View Image (or tap to open in another window).

I'm guessing it should help pages load faster too.

Re: Post Your Desktop Screenshots! - Mike - 12-05-2014

True. It's too bad the default img tag doesn't default to those dimensions when using the editor buttons. I suppose if the forum had a responsive css file then it wouldn't matter.

Thank you AL13N it took us almost 3 hours to walk up Snowdon and the rescue helicopter flew straight over us near the summit. It dropped down unbelievably close to the rock face with hundreds of people snapping pictures.Amazing flying.

Can't post, message states pic too large, don't know how to solve that, thanx.

You can resize the image:  BBCode.org: Posting images

For example, here is your image resized and made clickable (to show full size):

This was done using the following code:

Code:
