Besides soundjuicer, try ripperx, ripoff and asunder, too.

sudo apt install ripperx ripoff asunder -y

Test them all and then choose the best. Maybe you will leave a message then about your impressions of them for other users? Smile

If I am not mistaken, Asunder is included in MX-Linux.

Heya!

Quick question and maybe suggestion for you guys, I don't have my LiLi to test at the moment but is Chromium in Lite Software beacause it's PPA only, etc.?

If it's available in the "official" channels, I would suggest maybe checking if it could be a contender to replace FireFox.
I Like FF but and I may be wrong but I did a few personnal tests and the new-ish engine in FireFox now seam to use more memory than Chromium, even if advertised otherwise. And the browser seems "heavy" on lower end machines(?). I didn't check the exact download file size but seams about the same.

BTW, I don't have a personnal preference if the browser does the job, just want the "best" at install time. Wink
... and don't start a browser war guys, these are the two main open-source browsers. I would not suggest to put a less-known or closed-source one in LiLi by default.

Cheers!

sudo apt install chromium-browser

NB: the command sudo apt install chromium will install a game with the same name.

The same thing concerns Epiphany-browser (the default browser in Gnome): the command sudo apt install epiphany-browser will install the browser, the command sudo apt install epiphany will install a game. So, don't mix them up!

Yes! Besides, I can't get onto the FF addons page. To add an extension to FF has become a big problem. Does it happen only to me, or do other users have the same problem? And what is more important for users from different countries, FF can't translate web-pages and no one (not English) will be able to translate manuals on this site. And some of the potential LL-users may go away for some other distro. Chromiun-browser can translate pages, FF can't. And Chromium is lighter - just the thing for LL.

The first thing I do after installing a distro is sudo apt purge --autoremove firefox

I know these apps quite well, and my asking you to test them was just a way of speaking, so that you also could get acquainted with the apps as well. Okay, don't use the apps at all, by now means! And, please, don't respond to my posts in the future. Thank you beforehand.
