Linux lite 2.4 - DP audio and S3 resume issue - erickson - 09-24-2015
Hi, everyone,
I have encountered the problem after install the Linuxlite 2.4 on my Intel Broadwell system.
1.The eDP audio has no sound on my system.
2.S3 resume encounter the black screen symptom.
OS : linux lite 2.4
CPU : i3-5010U
GPU : Intel HD Graphics 5500
If anyone knows about this issue, please help on it.

I'll see if I can give some direction on #2.. I assume this is resuming from suspend/hibernate with a blank/black screen??..
I had a similar issue; give this thread look over - It was the Light-Locker app that I needed to disable..

For number #1 - on my system mute isn't predominate and increasing volume doesn't un-mute.. If you have the speaker icon in the lower right corner, the system is using a driver of sorts (maybe incorrect) but go in to volume settings check for mute/greyed volume slider...
Others with more knowledge will chime in (I'm still new myself ;D) - but perhaps the above may help in the meanwhile
