ClamAv error updating - thoughtinstinct - 12-28-2016
Hi
I tried installing ClamAV using at first #sudo apt-get install clamav clamav-daemon clamtk and everything went alright. I then did #sudo freschclam and i got the following "error"
Code:
ERROR: /var/log/clamav/freshclam.log is locked by another process
ERROR: Problem with internal logger (UpdateLogFile = /var/log/clamav/freshclam.log).Thinking it might be a problem with the installation process i did #sudo apt-get purge clamav clamav-daemon clamtk and then #sudo apt-get install clamav clamav-daemon -y, copy/pasting from here http://www.ehowstuff.com/install-clamav-ubuntu-server/ but i'm still getting same "error". I did some googling but i'm not any wiser. Please help !
