Audacity chases me around on the XFCE Desktop - TuxInAGalaxy - 02-20-2017 If you do a google search you might find my post on other linux sites. This has been a very annoying issue with the XFCE desktop. I've been looking for a solution for a long time. Today I decided to crack down and get this out there in case someone has found a solution. I tried the XFCE forums first but back then I didn't have an actual video to show them. I updated my post there and now there is a video too. When I am opening up a bunch of podcast mp3 files for editing, and I try to go to another workspace to browse the Internet, audacity follows me. Not like it would if I had the desktop set to have it show on all workspaces. Watch the video and you should be able to see what I mean. I'm running XFCE 4 and Audacity 2.1.2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-Pf0J0-oKc Re: Audacity chases me around on the XFCE Desktop - TuxInAGalaxy - 02-21-2017 Update: 02-20-2017 at 11:37 pm It seems I was able to solve this in the xfce forums. Here is a link to the entire conversation. Videos included. http://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=11314 |
