clicking on Logout does not show options window - Searchernow - 03-09-2020 When clicking on the Logout icon, the circular green one at the right hand end of Menu, I used to get a logout options window showing suspend, logout, shut down, re-start etc. Now it immediately closes my open applications and logs me out. This is a very recent install of LL4.8, updated. I do have Power settings set to Suspend when I press the power button, and that works ok, but I'd like to know why the previous way no longer works. I checked on another computer with LL4.6 and it works as usual, with options window. many thanks in anticipation. Perhaps you mean some other button? Logout command that displays the dialog is: xfce4-session-logout Re: clicking on Logout does not show options window - Searchernow - 03-13-2020 (03-10-2020, 10:45 PM)misko_2083 link Wrote: [quote author=Searchernow link=topic=7128.msg51200#msg51200 date=1583864183] I don't see that. But I have solved it - Settings>Session & Startup>Logout Settings>select Prompt on Logout. That fixed it. |
