It may be that the NordVPN repository was being updated when you ran the update/upgrade.
Try again and report back.

I received a notice from the OS that more items were ready to be downloaded. Among them was the NordVPN update. All images that were ready for download were delivered and installed with no issue, including the NordVPN image.
