Welcome to the forum. I made the switch to Linux three years ago and never regret it. Been using Lite on two of my systems for the past two years. I still play around with other disto's but my daily system I depend on is running Lite. This forum is a great place to learn!

I have 2 windows computers that i only boot to screen record and backup DVD's with DVDshrink.
I found an alternative to Screen recorder in windoze- KAZAM
Excellent and simple screenshot and recorder.(synaptic package manager has it)
I haven't found a DVD backup program yet that will convert ANY dvd to mp4, so just that and im 100% linux.
It is great to be part of the revolution ! Breaking the bonds ! AWESOME.
