Network card ASUS PCE-AC68 Linux Lite
#1
Good afternoon to all the classmates of Lite
I just bought a network card ASUS PCE-AC68 but the DVD is only for windows. I have entered the ASUS page and the selectable
operating systems are all windows. But there has to be some way that Linux Lite detects me the card from some option.
From the option install drivers does not leave me. Please, if someone can help me, i would be very grateful.
A greeting

Have you tried just using the network card?  The drivers for a lot of hardware are often already included in the Linux kernel.

The network card, like the previous one, should not detect it automatically?
That's is the problem, it is well placed, it's back light is turned on but when the equipment is started it does not detected it.
How do i solve the problem?, because i did not buy the card to navigate with windows.

Google says: it's Broadcom BCM4360

Open a Terminal:

Code:
sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source
sudo modprobe wl
sudo reboot

one command at a time.

You're welcome. You can still go through PayPal and use your credit or debit card to pay at the end at checkout, no issues. No PayPal account needed, I just use them as gateway Smile

Moved to Network Section.
