This is the day on which 239 years ago, we as a collection of 13 colonies belonging to British Empire. Signed and sent to our Sovereign a document declaring our break with, and Independence from the same.

Hello!

Do you folks shoot off your own fireworks down there?

Here in NC, we can't get anything that goes BANG - only sparklers, fountains, and snakes. However, since SC, which sells all sorts of fireworks, is only a few miles away, the whole neighborhood chips in, buys the good stuff from down that way, and we put on our own show.

This year, our shows were better than the show the city of Charlotte had - at a fraction of the cost...

Town  ban on fire works because of dry weather (burn ban).

As my neighbors shot off fireworks all day at their place.
The cops here are break time parking lot police.

Texas out here is the wild west so anything can be bought from a wooden shed selling fire works.,
You can get M-80's to major launcher howitzer type of aerial  fireworks.

Smuggled in from Mexico because of our location on the border.

Howdy All:

I am in the great state of North Dakota, we still get to play with real fireworks. I fear this will not hold true for future generations.

The Kaliforniacation has started in the west due to an influx of oil field workers to our privately held oil shale. Highly productive I might add ;D

Add to this, Minnesota in the east and it is a two front assault.
