Bose Soundlink Mini, Making a Connection

Has anyone a solution to connecting my laptop to my Bose Soudndlink Mini?
It will not pair!
I have googled this, and they suggested a complicated solution involving the command line.
I am a new user  to Linux Lite, and I am not familiar with commands.
I am hoping there will be an easier solution.

Hi,

Well that looks like a External Speaker with Bluetooth and auxillary inputs.
Simplest if you don't want to do anything on the PC/Laptop config is to
connect via a 3.5mm stereo audio cable from PC Output to Bose aux input.

If you want to connect via Bluetooth you need to have Bluetooth on your PC/Laptop
Please open up a terminal by pressing ctrl/alt/t on your keyboard, then type:

Then copy the output back to here, that will show us what your PC/Laptop is.

Hello!

To enable full Bluetooth support, read the following post, and do what it suggests to do to correct the problem. Afterwards, If you still have a problem, we can go from there.

I checked the User's Manual, and I couldn't find anything about enabling Bluetooth in LL mentioned. Hopefully, that can be fixed...

Hi,

The N310 does have Bluetooth,, Follow Rob's suggestion to begin with.

I did find a comment in one review "Bluetooth is switched off by default"
but I assume that is when Windows is used..??
unless there are Keyboard/Key combination to switch it ON/OFF
((On my HP Laptop I have FN+F12 to switch Wireless ON/OFF))
