German magazin now has reviewed Linux Lite
#1
In June I have written to two German magazins about Linux , if they would like to write about Linux Lite. Now success! The German magazin LinuxUser includes in issue 9/2016, which is available since today, an article about Linux Lite. Ca. 4 pages.  Smile

Viele schlanke Distributionen buhlen auf älterer Hardware um die Gunst des Anwenders. Mit einem hohen Bedienkomfort ermöglicht Linux Lite speziell Umsteigern, ohne funktionelle Abstriche sofort loszulegen.

Many lean distributions are competing on older hardware to the favor of the user. With a high level of convenience, Linux Lite allows specially newcomers without functional compromise to get started.

FYI: As I've seen this evening, the magazin also contains two DVDs, the second comes with Linux Lite 3.0.

The magazin promotes his new issue also with a slogan, which could be translated as: "Two top distros on two dvds."    Smile There

It says Top-Distris on two DVDs. And each DVD has two distros Smile

Btw. for Windows refugees ChaletOS und ZorinOS are specifically mentioned.
Our beloved Linux Lite is mentioned more in connection with old hardware.

Nontheless a big success considering the amount of distros out there Smile

Well done, Jerry & team! Smile

I'm also confused by the pic. But in the next week I will get the issue.
I suppose the standard of the magazin is minimum one DVD, the green one, and two is not meant as total amount  of DVDs.

According to the english media data of the magazin:
Quote:LinuxUser
The Power User magazine for users in their daily dealings with Linux

LinuxUser is the media label for Linux use on a daily basis offering practical articles, workshops and tests. As a practical media label LinuxUser mostly presents solution-oriented, workshop-styled articles. Beyond that software reviews, hardware tests and essential editorials offer the latest information on products and basic knowledge to the technical backgrounds.
