I actually strip out any negativity and look at their core concern. If they have a valid suggestion that I've overlooked or a fresh idea that fits our target audiences expectations, then it goes onto the todo list. I don't just look at these emails and discard them, despite their choice of words, the core message has some value.

And FTR, nearly all that do this, leave a fake email address, which for me, absolutely confirms their cowardess.

I have a "throw away" e-mail address that I give to people or businesses that are likely to send me lots of unwanted SPAM, but not a fake email to hide behind and make little sniper attacks anonymously. Especially personal ones! I like his chosen nickname, though. Sasquatch - it fits.
