I forgot to mention. If you use my personal vesa xorg.conf for my 23 inch monitor. You will need to change
on line 82 & 111 in quotes to your PCI Bus ID name/number string. Which should be the 1st numbers spit out from doing a
$ lspci |grep VGA
00:02.0 <<<<<<-------------<<<<<<<VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09)
^ up there.
Complicated I know. But custom edits require flexibility in your way at doing things. There might be a easier way that I do not know about.
