This forum is fortunate to have a number of people, with varying Linux expertise, who are able to devote the time needed to help out new users. It seems like every time I go to Ubuntu Forums, by the time I get a response, I've already solved my own problem. At that point, I leave the solution for others, or for the next time I need it myself...
