Sorry, are we only talking about the 32-bit version?

Cause I've Opera installed and just tested to browse around the Linux Lite Forums without problems.

From the About Opera menu page:
Version: 35.0.2066.68 - Opera is up to date
Update stream: Stable
System: Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS (x86_64; XFCE)
