scp fails between two Lite4.2 workstations

Thanks, Jerry, for emphasizing my point.  That is exactly why capabilities of an OS need to be verified to work before going out of beta.  Trindad, that is exactly how I'm using it on two laptops.  It is common practice to copy files between workstations used as desktop systems but in Lite4.2 it doesn't work anymore.  Eliminating all PAM banners doesn't help get either sftp or scp to work as they used to and as the documentation describes.  I'll use another distro that isn't broken.  There are plenty to choose from.
