Am I really up to date?

I confirm this.
This is the end of the road with LL 4.8.
I'm still running it, so that is all, for now.
Jerry might push some new kernel if something new shows up, by at this very moment, my kernel is 4.15.0-109-generic
I guess it showed up yesterday or so. I forgot, I pushed twice a day the updates in the last 3 or 4 days, so one of those had the new kernel revision, I only remember having a list of kernel packages to install spo I proceeded without too much fuss...
...I checked again now the updates list. Nothing like kernel. Some 10 packages, compiler related though.
Maybe later...
Anyway, if you want a new kernel for some reason, give it a testdrive to LL 5.0.
I found nothing to worry. It's just that my Lenovo T400 seems to live its last days... Somethnig wrong with the USB (Ports? Controller?).
I'm expecting a desktop now, so I'll get back to LL 5.0 în a few days.
I'll keep people informed on what's what and how's how, on the dedicated thread.
Best regards!
