Hello, good afternoon!
1) I Try typing this command in the Linux Lite emulator Terminal, and this is the result:
francisco ~ dpkg -l | grep xapp
ii gir1.2-xapp-1.0 2.2.8-1 amd64 Introspection data for Xapp
ii libxapp1:amd64 2.2.8-1 amd64 XApp library
ii xapp 2.2.8-1 amd64 Libraries and common resources for multiple desktop environments
ii xapps-common 2.2.8-1 all Files that are common across Xapp desktop applications
2) lite-welcome worked fine with LInux Lite 6.4, when upgrading to Linux Lite 6.6, it only worked the first time that I completely upgraded everything with lite-upgrade-series6 from linux Lite control panel.Since then, it has not worked and when you open it you only see the blank window.
3) Firefox I did install it from the Linux Lite app store.
Dosbox_X from flathub prompts:
sudo apt install flatpak
And there is also the recommended plugin:
sudo apt install gnome-software-plugin-flatpak
4) Regarding what is not Linux Lite, I have it because I use old MSDOS and Windows applications, which do not work with Wine.
5) The thing about updating everything completely is because that's how I've done it since I moved from Debian to Ubuntu.
But, I wouldn't bother doing it right now with Linux Lite Package Update Indicator if that would solve the problem.
I hope this information is of great help to you.
