Linux Lite will not play nice with VIA chipset

Cool Beans Bro. Hope it works for you. On our site. Sis and Savage chips still require running vesa on older rare gear. The newer xorg just freezes the desktop when running the Sis or Savage driver supplied by gnu/linux.

What it amounts to is. One hand is not aware of what the other hand is doing or needs. So the user suffers a bit.
Good thing there are guys like us lighting the way for everyone else.

When I googled openchrome. The documentation was old and applied to ubuntu variations like ubuntu 8.10 and such.

Even Debian search by me only turned up stuff for 2013 or so.


Maybe someone here with better skillz than me can pick up the load in this thread also.
