If I log out and log back in, my wifi connection won't reestablish a connection. I have to shutdown and reboot.
I am using a usb wifi adpater to connect to my router but not sure if this is the issue or not. Any suggestions how to fix this? Thanks.

May want to post the make/model of the adapter to help point in the right direction??
Perhaps the output of:
Depending on make/age ... I've found older kernels have better results with the older hardware.. My stuff works well with
4.4.
Its easy to trial.. Lite Tweaks - - Kernel Installer.. Can also remove....
Select desired kernel - install - reboot -- Choose advanced in Grub, select kernel and boot..

Yes, I tried that but it's a pain since the usb connection is on the back of my computer. The Internet SSID of my provider show up in the panel but just cycles trying to connect.
Ordered a netgear powerline adapter and am going to try it out. If it works, should give a good wired connection with no problems.

Installed the netgear powerline adapter and it connected and created a wired connection to the router.
Works great and now if I log out and back in the connection is reestablished. No more wireless for me at this time.
