I actually strip out any negativity and look at their core concern. If they have a valid suggestion that I've overlooked or a fresh idea that fits our target audiences expectations, then it goes onto the todo list. I don't just look at these emails and discard them, despite their choice of words, the core message has some value.

Maybe it is meant to be like that? I mean, maybe it is intended to bring you down with these quite personal hit-and-run harassments, aiming for one sided communication. Well, if there is even no technical way to respond, certainly dialogue is not an option, but at least you can rest in an assumption as to not waste the energy trying to involve in a dispute.

I have a "throw away" e-mail address that I give to people or businesses that are likely to send me lots of unwanted SPAM, but not a fake email to hide behind and make little sniper attacks anonymously.  Especially personal ones!  I like his chosen nickname, though.  Sasquatch - it fits.
