Ethernet connect to router but didnt get any IPV4

Dear all
i  have Hp Pavilion 640 G1  , install linuxlite 5.2 and use it after last update my local network  did not get any Ip from my router
i test everything like reset my router but problem not solve . i have windows on this laptop too and there is any problem on windows .
please some prof man help me to solve this  Wink

Hi!

What is the IP address that the network card in Lunux get?
If it's something like 169.154.xxx.xxx (x being numbers), your network card is not getting an address from the router.

I fixed the image - you can use the BBC code on imgur - or use the image icon and the URL..

Looks like you're not getting an IPv4 address, mayh want to look at - https://www.linuxliteos.com/manual/network.html#wired
That may try a new cable...

OP said it worked in Windows. So maybe Kernel or driver related :

Seems intel has an officle driver... though it may be already available in the updates... if WiFi works Wink
