Firefox bookmarks disapeared
#1
Hi Guy's. Got a nasty surprise when I switched on tonight.  Went to find a page that I had bookmarked in Firefox and find that everything has disapeared. Just like that!  Does anyone know what I can do to retrieve the bookmarks toolbar? I am very unhappy that all my precious bookmarks have gone into thin air.  Hope you can help me out on this one. Regards Walt

Hi Cypher,

Right click where the red arrow is, select the option "bookmark toolbar" by the blue arrow.

Hi Scott. Thank you for taking the trouble to reply. I really appreciate it. Well I could not find the item you told me to click on as the top layout of my Firefox page is different, somehow. But there is a box titled MENU which I clicked on and found a reference to the TOOLBAR. The best I can get from this, is to have the bookmark toolbar on the side, which is not very convenient. I clicked on the main toolbar but nothing appeared on the top, for whatever reason. But at least I still have my precious bookmarks and can use them. I am still baffled though, as to why this went wrong, just like that. Maybe I shall never find out. Thanks again though Scott. Regards Walt.

Hi Guy's. Scott too. Many thanks for all the help given me on this subject. Guess what? Sat looking at the page and an option came to me. Restore Defaults. I was very wary about this, but anyway I clicked on this and 'Yikes!' My bookmark options were all sitting there on screen, just like they had been from the start. Phew! That was a relief I can tell you. Thanks again guy's. Thanks again Scott and regards to one and all. Walt.

Hello Cypher,
I right click on address bar before "h" of http:// , from the menu that appears there you can add bookmarks bar or menu bar.
