Remove Lock Screen
#1
Some days ago I tried hooking up a monitor to my Linux Lite laptop. After that, the screen has magically been set to lock itself after a few minutes. There's an option in Screensaver Preferences to "Lock Screen After X Minutes" but it's not checked, nor have I ever made this setting myself.

How do I remove the lock screen?

Have a look in Menu > Settings for Light Locker, if it's not in settings look in Menu > All.
Also check the Power Manager settings, those 2 can also lock the screen.

In 2.8 (listed in your sig)..
Check the following..
  • Lite-Locker
  • Power Manager
  • ScreenSaver

More than likely its lite-locker but could have inadvertently enabled in another...
