Turbo ad-based support?
#1
There should be an option for users to browse the website with extra ads for supporting Linux Lite more strongly. I suggest we switch to Revcontent ads, as they allow us to choose what ads to see.

A reply would be appreciated.

I'll have to look into this thoroughly as I have never heard of it. At the moment, Google Ads is serving us well.

Elsewhere, ads often seem to be based on your other website visits or things that you've searched.  I don't know how the Linux Lite ads work, but I can relate to the feeling that some of them seem to come out of "left field."

Ads are targeted to your interests, that's how Google works eg. if you've recently been browsing for golf clubs to buy, you'll get golf related ads. Linux ads aren't so obvious. If you spend most of your time looking at Linux sites and information, you'll likely get ads for server hosting, development etc since that's what Linux is mostly used for.

Is this using Google search or is Google seeing browser history?

I use DuckDuckGo as my primary search engine. Start Page is second and Google is last.

When System 76 and similar ads show up and they are clicked on even if you aren't shopping increase there showing up?
