Need help with ASUSTek usb wifi
#1
Hey, I have an AsusTek usb wifi that does not seem to be turning on. I think it needs a driver. But I am not sure where to get it from. I have looked in the forum and have had no luck. The actual cd that comes with it says there is a driver for Linux but I don't know how to install it. Any help would be great
thanks

It's an Asus AC1200 USB AC53 Nano Model# USB-AC53 Nano
It came with a cd and when I looked at the cd contents it has a folder for Linux, but for PC linux... I think.

I did look up a driver for an AC1200 Seagate and tried that https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?...372&page=3 And went through everything there but it stil does not work.

CAUTION: when I did these thing outlined in the link some unusual things happened. So I don't know if you should click on them.

I have a copy of the terminal output but it is rather large and I can't seem to load it up here.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks.

or
https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2395729

Perhaps some help???

It maybe worth looking a new Wifi - I believe Panda have had success...

Also, it may worth looking at the Hardware databased - to see how many systems have the referenced hardware...
- for the AC1200, there was 1....
